Today I am writing about my April Birchbox, which I received a couple weeks ago. I know… why am I writing about this so late? Well firstly, we’re still in April and secondly, I’ve been working like crazy on my New Flair Chick’s Website! If you haven’t seen it yet, go check it out and tell me if you like it 😉
Moving on… I was super excited unboxing my April Birchbox because they added a new release from Nip+Fab that all subscribers did not receive (I was one of the lucky ones!), along with an awesome HD Perfecting Powder. To be more precise, let me outline for you a list of the Items I got 🙂
Nip + Fab – Colour Correcting Concealer
I find this piece of make up very interesting because I never thought you needed colours like this one on your skin. It is supposed to enhance your complexion and balance imperfections. I tried it on my skin and it seems to blend very well.
However, I’ve learned that Lavender helps conceal the yellow undertones but I am still trying to figure out whether I have yellow undertones or not. So for the moment, I will leave this piece of make up aside.
Manna Kadar – High Definition Powder
I am so liking and using this powder to highlight and keep my make up in place. It leaves such a nice matte and velvet finish to my face and my make up last all day. I use it mainly on my t-zone, cheek bones and a little bit on my chin.
Downside: This full-size High Definition Powder costs around €30 and it’s very small for such price. Not sure if I would purchase it, unless they make it bigger and worth the price.
Poláar – Ice Pure Scrub with Artic Cotton
I just simply love scrubs! Facial scrub, Body scrub, lip scrub, you name it! The sensation after scrubbing is just amazing and makes such a difference to your skin.
This Poláar Ice Pure contains tiny scrubs that are very gentle to the skin and leaves it surprisingly moisturised, not like others exfoliators. I am buying this full-size!
Oribe – Dry texturing Hair Spray
This is an upgraded version of normal dry shampoos and it’s not bad at all. It actually cleans, lifts and give volume to your hair when it is a bit dirty. This product smells amazing and the hair looks and feels super clean at the touch. I love the fancy bottle and yes, this gorgeous Texturing Hair Spray is very expensive, compared to others in the market but it’s a good treat.
Baïja Paris – Moana Body Cream
In my opinion, Birchbox can never go wrong with body creams. Although, I have never heard of this brand before – I am loving the Tiare flower fragrance and the way it soothes my skin after a hot shower.
I’m the kind of person who would rub body lotions every single day so I am looking forward to finishing my current body cream to purchase this Moana cream one ASAP and also the body oil which must be amazing!
