Good evening everyone!
I am delighted to introduce to you a new section in my blog called the ‘Sweet Corner‘ as I really enjoy visiting new coffee shops in Dublin and also when traveling to other countries. If I’m already reviewing restaurant, I said to myself, why not doing the same with the Coffee shops. And no, I’m not talking about Starbucks or Cafe Costa haha 😉
I mentioned in my previous post that I would be writing about this place in a separate post and here it is. I just thought it would be nice to give some credit to this cafe because what I ate was absolutely delicious.
Bistrot et Chocolat is a nice little cafe located in the Rue de la Râpe in Strasbourg, France – right next to the Cathedral. As of today, this bistrot is Trip Advisor’s number 8 of places to eat dessert in this city and as expected, when we arrived the place was packed but gladly the waiter managed to make space for 7 people. Uff!
Looking at the menu, it’s almost impossible to make up your mind because everything looks so good on the photos. I guess it all comes down to how hungry and how much of a sweet tooth person you are 🙂 I was hungry so opted for a small cappuccino and the crêpe with chocolate mousse and almonds. Coffee was nice and the crêpe was delicious!
One of my friends ordered waffles with sugar and chocolate – they are quite big, making it perfect to share it with someone else. The cake of the day was also ordered and it was Crumble Apple Tart. Both of them were unbelievably good.
If you are a coffee addict, they also have a long list of different types of coffee as well as hot chocolates which seems to be their speciality.
This petit café also do savoury menu on the weekdays and brunch on the weekend. They also have a little display where they sell products of their own brand. If you are into Chocolate, you should stop by.
This place is definitely a perfect way to indulge yourself in a wintery cold day. Keep it in mind if you are around 😉
